Dress Up and Tea Parties

It is so nice that Grandma has boxes of dress up clothes and the best part is that she even has separate dress up quarters: the shed; (she nor Grandpa probably intend that to be permanent).
So, the mess is not seen and they can play anytime.
Halle and Louis....working it out.
Had to get a better close up of Hannah. :)
The maids.
 Oh my!

Hair cuts

A month away from Dad, means a month without haircuts!
I don't want to admit it, but (after seeing the boys hair get more and more bushy)
I miss the "way too" frequent haircuts that Pat inflicted on the boys
every time he helped them get through the shower.
Grandma said she would takeover the job.
Sorry Drew I didn't get a "final" pic.
Louis sat so still "even before I promised him some of Poppy's jellybeans" said Grandma
What do you think Dad?

On the back patio

Isabelle watering the flowers for Grandma.
 Happy Girl!

 peek a boo!

Pat, this is just for you.
I love you and miss you.

Boys fun

Drew had proudly caught a mouse in the barn that was being held hostage in a 5 gallon bucket.
Eric and Josh were down as well and after finding the pond cold on such a
windy day they decided to look for snakes.
They decided they could feed the mouse to the snake and see if he would eat it.
Josh didnt like the idea: "the mouse is so cute";
majority ruled his opinion out.
It didnt take long for the snake to latch on to the mouse. and have him 1/2 way down his throat.
 It was pretty cool.

Back to the pond!
Then the little boys & some chocolate slime!
Louis wasn't sure he liked getting his hands all gooey.
but Nicholas' enthusiasm spurred him on

...if I can't eat it, what am I doing with a straw?!

T and Tea

Little T is sure getting mobile. I think Daddy will be surprised.
Last night at dinner a 'cry out' from Isabelle alerted us to see her on top of the little kids table.
She loves climbing up and standing on this rocking chair....just learning to balance.

The girls were so excited to dress up for tea at Aunt Allisons.
We enjoyed A. Allison's delicious homemade yogurt sprinkled with huckleberries
and fresh, hot huckleberry muffins.

Finally a horse ride!

Louis could not have been more pleased!
I know you were ready for a longer ride Drew, weren't you?
Thanks Michaela for thinking of the kids!

Adolf Hitler?

Grandpa walked in with these today some leftover pieces of velcro.
Drew's needed a bit more tweaking.

A day with Halle Jo

Halle Jo came for the day and as we went off to pick huckleberrys
Louis and Halle had a good time with Grams.

Enjoying push-ups on Uncle Joe & Aunt Stacy's porch.

Huckleberry Valley

The Bells have had lots and lots of hucklerries.
We drove up to pick on morning and all the Bell kids were heading out to pick too of course.
Annika grabbed Isabelle's hand "come one, lets head down to "huckleberry valley"!

Hannah was intent on filling her little container.
Upon completing: "Aaah, finally! Now... I can eat ALL I want!"
