Happy Birthday Hannah

Oh Happy Birthday Happy Hannah!
You are getting to be such a big girl. Now in Kindergarten and loving it!
Louis and you both are excited to have Tues and Thurs still home together though.
You have such a big heart Hannah. You love to give gifts or do something secret to make someone else happy. All Advent season everyone was getting beautiful drawings and little treasures from you under their pillows....
Dad even ended up with your nativity set, (mossy stable and all!) under his pillow.
You won the prize for best advent angel this year.

Dad the apron was clearly not intended for an adult!
Don't ever stop being our Happy Hannah!
Did I really take the easy way out and just do a Lump Bumpy?!
I am sorry Hannah!!

It's all about Toots!

ONE of her fond names tootsie, tease, teas, and hans (by Louis....random!)

These are all old 2 + months ago....but this little gal sure keeps us smiling!
She of course gets into and onto everything. All the kids know what doors to keep closed and what chairs to keep pushed in. She will not be left out of any "party".

A visit from Uncle Matt and Aunt Carolyn

It was a very most unexpected surprise when I heard my brother and sister-in-laws voices in my house this fall afternoon.
Pat had asked if I wanted to meet him for lunch, he was taking a half day.
I was a little confused he was requesting that when it was after my birthday. i told him it was just too much i was ready to lay the kids down
An early morning wakeup call from Drew and Louis encouraged
Uncle Matt to get them out of the house to go get bfast fixings for crepes.
It was delicious: whip cream, fruit and all!
Reading Black Beauty

Finally out fishing!

Most of them were about this size ;(

Boys hard work

The "boys did a lot of work thru the fall cleaning up the weeds at the end of the driveway
weeding the garden, hedging all the shrubbery, hauling it off, staining the swing set and the deck.
I pray you always remain such good buds!

Again the garden....the project Grandma helped us get a head start too.

Everything is new

How fun it was to start settling into our new home
2+ months have already passed but still great memories.

The smallest things were fun and exciting.

Hours spent looking for special rocks in the driveway (kids were sure was obsidian).
Breakfast enjoying oatmeal with freshly picked blueberries!  Mmmmm!
A huge thank you to Grandma for picking!
Re-united with his "horse" pumping up the tires, just happy to sit on the front porch.
Here a personal corral made for his horse.
At first I was upset at who moved my boxes all around...then I realized there was a purpose..Louis' horse had to be penned in!
Organizing the pantry.....jars of huckleberry jam and saris syrup stashed in back to savor later.
Early mornings with Grandma.
Weeding the garden and finding lots of leftover goodies, onions chives tomatoes, potatoes.
Thanks Mom for getting a huge head start.
Finished project.....for now
The first of many swims.

 And many sausage roasts.
 first of many fish.......bluegill
the biggest Bass, caught many times:  poor old timer!
 Dinner!

Many thanks to Mom for sharing the first couple weeks with us getting us o
off to a much cleaner, organized, and peaceful start!
