Mittens!

What a great Christmas surprise! Drew opened his pkg from the Bell Family
and there were mittens for him to share with everyone.
We were all excited, what a special gift, knowing that their Aunt and cousins made them for them.
 Louis was the first to get his one and ran around showing everyone!
Isabelle was so excited about the purple button on hers and the pink button on Hannah's.
Thank you Aunt Allison and Michaela, Katherine and Annika!

Yeah!

Ice Cream for Louis

Hannah is usually the sharing one (but not this night with her icecream)
....Isabelle not so (except with Louis-her true little bud).
Here is an example:

Here Louis, I'll give you some....still eying Hannah's though.

There Louis, look, Isabelle has some.

Go on Louis, right over there.

Aaah, it 's just good to have my own apple!
(Different day...but just the same).

A Merry Christmas Day!

Christmas Eve.
My two girls!

Sisters ~ Friends (most of the time).
Isabelle: "We just love' ich udr soo much!"

Just after St. Nick, just before the kids.

Santa DID come Daddy!

                   A snowbear for sledding (or sleeping)!

       A remote control Jeep

My own boots! Mom you can put away the pinks ones now.
Everything was so exciting!

Mom, I love it!

A bit of "dramatism"  .............I want to kiss it! (It's just a jewelry box).

A new coat!

Mom, you're taking too long, can I just open yours?

And new shoes...finally.
It has been 8yrs.

Thank you Jesus for your birthday and St Nick for all the gifts!

Christmas Breakfast

What's wrong? You said I could lick it off.
A chocolate stick.

So smooth and creamy, your mom can identify.

Dainty? How did you stay so clean?

 Louis falling asleep

But "raring" to go after a good nap!

To the sled hill, thanks Dad!

Snowy Day

When Drew got his stuff on to go outside, Louis lost it; he was going too!
Dad dressed him enough to brave the cold in the Artic,
...he couldn't see a thing, but he was warm.

5 minutes later he was on the sled with Dad and 10 minutes later was brought in sound asleep!

 Ginger bread Cookies!
I am still hearing from Dad that he has "dough" and if I dont make
him sugar cookies he will just buy them.
Well, I do have the dough and they will be rolled out tomorrow!

Warming Daddy's Heart

Daddy was planning on going outside with the girls, but when Isabelle came inside "premature", he thought he would try to convince Hannah of the same.
"Hannah do you want to come in? Aren't you cold?"
Pleasantly: "No"
"What are you doing out there?"
Matter of factly: "Building a snowman.........with you." and then whispered: "But we need a carrot."

Out he went to sled down the 1/2 grass hill and make a snowman 6 in high.
Thank you Daddy, it made my day!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And then there is the hard working heart of our son Drew.
Truth be told, I am not sure if it was more his excitement to be in the snow.....
and/or build a snow hill for sledding!
Then, of course a man after his own heart: Louis "red-winged garbed"
....helping himself to snacks in the cupboard.
Just "topping" it off with angelic boys devoutly reciting the rosary.
No, he didn't stay longer than 5 minutes.
